The official wedding celebrations kicked off with a first look – which is such a great way to start off the day. It’s a calm, unrushed moment together before all the chaos of the festivities begin. There aren’t often moments to be alone on your wedding day and a first look is the perfect opportunity to simply take it all in, together.

A Scenic Vow Exchange

Nestled in the Hawkesbury Valley, the deck at Loxley on Bellbird Hill served as the stage for their heartfelt vows. As they stood hand in hand, promising to spend their lives together, the rolling hills and expansive skies bore witness to their commitment, making it a breathtaking backdrop for their promises of forever. Tradition was set aside, and they celebrated their love in a way that felt uniquely their own.

Their wedding day was an unconventional delight. Canapés were served before the ceremony, setting a relaxed tone and allowing guests to mingle freely. Laughter and conversation filled the air as anticipation built for the upcoming nuptials.

Cocktail Reception Extravaganza

Following the ceremony, Ebony and Dale hosted a cocktail reception where guests were treated to an assortment of bite-sized delights, that just kept coming. Continuing with the unconventional theme, there were no real formalities to speak of, and for the only speech of the evening Dale had a surprise up his sleeve for his new wife. They had opted not to say personalised vows during the ceremony, a decision he was sure had left Ebony disappointed. So, being the romantic he clearly is, he surprised his beautiful bride, delivering heartfelt vows that left everyone moved.

With so many children among their family and friends, the night was filled with endless laughter and joy. Children have a way of making weddings even more entertaining, and their presence added an extra layer of warmth to this special day.
