Beautiful Keziah wasn’t too sure about this photoshoot that her mom and dad – Michelle and Pete – organised to capture their sweet family before I left South Africa.

It didn’t take long however, for Kezi to warm up to the whole idea of enjoying some fun time with her mom and dad – especially since the only way to get her to giggle and smile was for daddy to run up and down behind me, pretending that he was coming to catch her.  It was the cutest thing to watch her face light up at her daddy’s antics and to watch Michelle try and keep her eyes on me and not burst out laughing at Pete’s energetic smile inducing antics behind me. It’s time’s like these that I REALLY need someone to take a behind the scene’s shot to capture how we got the smile. It would be an awesome add on to include in Mom and dad’s gallery so that they can always have that reminder of what lengths they went to to get the shot.

Once we had this sweet little cherub smiling there was no turning back, we powered through the spits of rain that kept threatening – it had already rained for a good portion of the afternoon leading up to our session (and we’d already had to reschedule our shoot once due to rain and were determined to not let it stop us again), we even got granny included in a few and a change of outfit gave us a nice mix of images for this beautiful family to hang on their wall and enjoy for years to come.
