This was a fabulously fun 10th birthday party at  Chevy Lane – a chevy themed diner for a special set of twins – Ethan and Tayla!!

Amongst the whirlwind that was my life before I moved, I managed to squeeze in one last shoot. Because everything had happened so quickly with our move, I was left tying up all the loose ends while my family was already settling in Australia. We were waiting for news on our house sale and I had a rough idea of when I envisioned leaving, but was kind of in limbo.

So when Elisa called and asked if I was still in South Africa because her gorgeous twins, Ethan and Tayla were celebrating their 10th birthday, I jumped at the chance for one last shoot with this amazing family. The Calaca family are so dear to my heart and Elisa and I hit it off from the very first time we met. Over the short time that we have known each other, she’s become more than a client, she and her beautiful family have become friends. So it was such a joy for me to be at the twins’ “double digits” celebration!

The venue was absolutely gorgeous and I wanted to take so many pictures of only the decor, but we had strict instructions that all images had to include party goers. 🙂 After the lunch festivities at Chevy Lane we moved over to the trampoline park for the kids to burn off some more energy before sending them home to their parents fully exhausted! hahaha
