In a world of hustle, taking time to sit down and relax is often seen as a waste of valuable time. But more studies are showing that stepping back and relaxing is key to our well being. We usually think this requires an elaborate vacation or day out. But nothing could be further from the truth.

It’s easier than you think

Often this can be done with a quick 15 minute break. All you need is a delicious warm drink and a delectable sweet treat.

This is so easily done at the Venus et Rose English Tea Room. A little gem tucked away on the outskirts of the scenic village of Ollon. This beautiful Tea Room is an oasis situated in the Jardinerie st. Triphon.

I was lucky enough to spend a few days in this magical place capturing brand images to be used for the Tea Room’s website, Facebook and social media pages.

A real perk of this particular job were the delicious treats and tea’s I got to taste in between shots!! As a tea lover, this was a shoot straight out of photography heaven!!

Life long Dream

Michelle Cerusini is the brains behind this beautiful English tea room. A life long dream to own a tea room saw Michelle invest her time and love into this beautiful cosy setting.

Filled with gorgeous tea themed decor and individually sourced pieces this little piece of heaven is a haven of peace and the perfect spot to find that much needed calm in your busy day.

Certainly living up to its name, it offers an array of English tea’s and tea time treats. From homemade english scones, to delectable cakes in a variety of flavours (my personal favourite being the walnut coffee cake!!)

Over the past 2 years the Tea Room has hosted various workshops and most recently Michelle and her hubby Daniele have become accredited Annie Sloane wall and chalk paint stockists.
