Fun Fagan Park Family Shoot with the Valente Family.

Starting the year with a family shoot at the always gorgeous Fagan Park was an absolute dream. I’ve been wanting to do a Fagan Park Family Shoot since I first visited!  So when I suggested Fagan Park as an option and Monica agreed it was the perfect location, my heart did a little happy dance.

Stylish

Normally the most stressful part of a family shoot is deciding what to wear. While white shirts and denim are an easy option (as well as the “been there, done that” option) You don’t want your family pictures to look just like everyone else’s!!

Monica and Fabio arrived at our shoot with their 2 gorgeous littles – Caetano and Estela, looking like absolute rockstars. During the planning stages of a family shoot , I send all my clients a helpful style guide as well as a link to my  Pinterest board that has a wealth of colour and wardrobe options. All of my clients have commented that it takes all the guess work out of their session and the pressure is immediately gone. Believe me, once you start scrolling the ideas will start flowing and you’ll probably have a range of outfits to choose from!! hahaha

Family Fun

I always try to inject fun into my shoots and I love when little ones chat and tell me all their interesting stories. As a mom of 2 teen boys, I miss the days of constant chatter and love to hear what my littlest clients have to say! And this shoot was no different. We had such fun! Cae and Stela had endless energy and kept all of us entertained! We were jumping and running and even threw a game of Simon says into the mix. There were lots of giggles and a dirty knee or two! Just how a family shoot should be… because, happy little ones makes for happy photo’s.

Beautiful Memories

A family shoot is really something that should be done on a regular basis. I’m not sure who once said “The days are long but the years are short”, but it’s so true. Our kids are little for such a short time and the years really do pass by so quickly. There’s no time like the present to get those family pictures captured!
