Sydney Christmas Lights
Christmas is my favourite time of the year and there is nothing that says Christmas more than beautiful twinkling lights and a mammoth tree. So when my sweet friend Tammy told me she was coming to Sydney for work in the last week of November, we took the opportunity to travel into the city to see it lit up with twinkling lights.
While I waited for Tammy to finish her meeting, I took full advantage of the time and captured some of the beautiful architecture in the square. It may not have had many Christmas lights but it was exquisite in its own right. The architects and builders of years gone by can really teach the new generation of builders a thing or two about detail and street appeal. The new buildings have none of the charm and character of the buildings of bygone eras. I found myself more drawn to the arched walkways of the old post office than the Christmas lights to start with! haha.Ā But enough rambling. I’m sure you’d prefer to just see the pictures of the lights – although few – really worth the trip into the city.
